Local Websites (Co. Clare) -Co Clare VEC

Co. Clare VEC delivers a range of educational programmes and supports to learners attending our centres in Co. Clare. These include schools, centres for early school leavers, and adult and community education centres.

  *From 2013 the 33 VECs in Ireland are being merged into 16 Local Education and Training Boards (LETBs) which will have an expanded role in the delivery of further education. Co Clare VEC will merge with City of Limerick VEC and County Limerick VEC early next year.

VTOS is a training programme for unemployed adults. Clare VEC runs three VTOS programmes around the county. Websites for each of them are above. - Clare Adult Basic Education Service

This is an agency of the department of education and skills with responsibility to support and develop guidance practice in all areas of education. - Irish Vocational Education Association

The IVEA is the national representative body for the 33 VEC’s in Ireland  - Aontas

the national adult learning organisation in Ireland - The National Co-ordinating Unit for Senior Traveller Training Centres. This unit is winding down its work as funding for traveller training centres has been phased out by the government. - Youthreach
